ABOUT DEAD LAVENDER
Dead Lavender is a one woman business based in Sheffield, England. Vintage, second hand and deadstock clothing and accessories are hand picked and upcycled using freemotion embroidery. Every step of the process is done by hand, from sourcing, to designing, hand guiding the embroidery and finishing each product. Each piece is unique. And every order is wrapped with the upmost care in recycled, plastic free packaging.
THE MAKER
Sara studied at the University of Brighton, completing an MDes in printed textiles and business studies. She has freelanced for Jenny King Embroidery since 2016, where she trained in Irish embroidery. Recently relocating to Sheffield, she works as a freelance embroiderer and creating the Dead Lavender brand. She combines a love of vintage clothing and textiles, with her embroidery experience and specialism in Irish freemotion embroidery.
